1 Getting started
SAHAY AI lives inside your JS1 ERP app — there's nothing new to install. It turns
the sales, stock, order and payment data you already have into clear answers and a daily
business dashboard.
- Open the JS1 ERP app and log in as usual.
- From the main menu, tap SAHAY / AI Insights.
- The SAHAY home screen opens. At the top you'll see how many queries you have left, and a
banner showing whether today's dashboard is ready.
From here you can open the AI Assistant (ask questions), the Sales
Intelligence dashboard (daily insights), or Accounts Intelligence
(payments and collections).
Tip: Open SAHAY early in the morning. The first time you open it
each day, it prepares the dashboard from last night's data — give it a minute and it's ready.
2 The AI Assistant
This is the easiest part — just ask, the way you'd ask a smart staff member. The
assistant answers from your own live data in a few seconds.
- On the SAHAY home, tap Open SAHAY, then choose a mode:
Sales & Stock or Outstanding (dues).
- Type your question, tap one of the ready-made questions, or tap the microphone
and speak.
- You can ask in English or Hindi, by typing or by voice.
Sales & Stock — things you can ask
- "Top 10 customers this month" / "Top products this month"
- "Which orders have pending dispatch?"
- "This year vs last year sales"
- "Which city has the highest sales?" / "State-wise net sales"
- "Sales returns this month"
Outstanding — things you can ask
- "Which parties are at critical payment risk?"
- "Who should I stop supply to?"
- "Parties overdue more than 60 days"
- "Who promised but didn't pay?"
- "State-wise outstanding"
What it answers — and what it won't: SAHAY answers about your
sales, stock, orders, returns, purchases and outstanding. By design it does not answer
about profit, margin, GST or HR. If it says it can't help with something, rephrase it or switch
between the Sales and Outstanding modes.
If an answer looks wrong, tap the 👎 button to report it. It's
free, doesn't use a query, and helps us improve. Every number in an answer is calculated from
your real data — never made up.
3 The Sales Intelligence dashboard
Prepared once a day, the dashboard is a grid of modules. Tap any tile to open it,
then drill in. Here's what every module does, in plain words.
Sorts every product by how fast it sells — Fast, Slow or Non-moving (FSN) — and by value (ABC) and demand steadiness (XYZ). It flags dead-stock risk and shows the rupee value blocked in stuck stock, plus reorder alerts. Use it to decide what to reorder and what to clear out before it becomes dead money.
For any product, shows a grid of every colour and size combination, coloured by status — Hot, Healthy, Slowing or Dead — along with how many months of stock you're holding. Use it to spot which colours and sizes are piling up and which to reorder.
Finds customers who are quietly slowing down or have gone silent, and gives you a "call today" list. Each buyer shows how many days since they last bought, how their volume has changed, what they owe, and a credit verdict. Use it to win back fading customers before they're lost for good.
Shows each agent's revenue, growth, returns and discount leakage (how much margin is going out in discounts). Tap an agent to drill into the parties they handle. Use it to see who's performing and where discounts are eating profit.
Classifies each product by its stage — Launch, Growth, Mature, Declining, Dormant or End-of-Life — and ranks by revenue. Use it to push growing products and phase out declining ones.
Ranks your sales by state and city, with a bubble map view, and breaks each region down by size, colour, category and brand. Use it to see where you're strong, where you're weak, and what sells in each region.
Compares this financial year against the last three, year-to-date, by overall, brand, category or agent — with year-on-year growth. Use it to see your real trend, season by season.
A single 0–100 score for your whole business, with sub-scores for revenue, products and customers, and the top few "things to do today." Tap a priority and it takes you straight to the right module. Use it as your one-glance morning check.
Tracks your health score and revenue over time, so you can see whether things are improving or slipping across weeks and months.
Shows which categories are growing, declining or at risk, including buyer retention per category. Use it to back the right categories and rescue slipping ones.
Shows how well your orders cover your distributors and direct buyers, with a retailer "X-ray" and a booking dashboard you can drill into by city or agent. Use it to spot retailers who've stopped ordering. (Available if your booking module is set up.)
A complete, up-to-the-minute view of any single customer — their stock, bookings, outstanding, buying pattern and risk — all on one screen. Very useful while taking an order. This one reads live data, not last night's.
Build your own quick pivot view over sales and order data, the way you want to slice it. Use it for custom questions the other modules don't cover.
Remember: the dashboard reflects last night's data. For
an up-to-the-minute view of one customer, use Party Scan.
4 Filters & options
Most modules have filters so you can narrow down to exactly what you need. You'll
usually see quick filter chips at the top, and a "Filters" button that opens more options.
Common filters include:
- Risk & movement — Critical / High / Medium / Low, or FSN class
(Fast / Slow / Non-moving), dead-only.
- Classification — ABC (by value) and XYZ (by demand steadiness).
- Stock — aging (e.g. 180+ days) and minimum stock (5+, 10+, 25+).
- Category — department, sub-group and brand.
- Product details — season, collection, designer and other product tags.
- Stock value basis — view value at Cost, Sell Rate or MRP.
Tip: start broad with the top chips, then open Filters only when you
need to narrow further. Tap Clear All to reset.
5 Payments & collections (Accounts Intelligence)
This area helps you collect money faster and chase the right parties first.
- Payment Risk Dashboard — every party scored from 0–100
(Critical / High / Medium / Low), showing total outstanding, amount at risk, expected
collection, and a "today's agenda": who to call and who to put on stop-supply.
- Payment Follow-up Calendar — record a remark, a promised amount and the
next date to follow up, then mark it done. Never lose track of a promise.
- Outstanding Reports — a set of action reports: dispatch decisions,
collection chase, credit-stop list, agent and cash-flow views.
- Outstanding Auto-Mailer (admin) — automatically e-mails outstanding
statements to parties and agents on your schedule, with a WhatsApp worklist.
Before turning the Auto-Mailer live: keep Dry-Run ON
and set a test e-mail first. Check the preview and the statement layout, then go live. Good
customers can be excluded on the "Flag Good Clients" screen.
6 Queries & access
Each question you ask the assistant uses one "query." Your remaining queries are
shown at the top of the SAHAY home screen.
- On the free plan, dashboards may show only the top rows; the full list unlocks on the paid
plan.
- If you run out of queries, you'll see a message to contact JS1 Software to renew or top up.
- Your business data always stays on your own server — the assistant only ever sees your
question and a limited, secure result.
Need more? Contact JS1 Software to top up queries or upgrade your
plan. Details are at the bottom of this page.
7 Tips for the best results
- Be specific and name the period — "this month", "last 3 months", "this year
vs last year" all work well.
- Use the ready-made questions to learn the phrasing the assistant handles
best, then adapt them.
- Ask "top N" style questions — they're the most reliable.
- Open SAHAY early so the dashboard is ready when you need it.
- Act on "Today's priorities" in Business Health — it points you to the few
things that matter most each day.
- Use Party Scan while taking an order to see a customer's full picture live.
